A reminder that the Annual HFF Picnic will be May 11. Once again, the Clarke’s have generously offered their home on Lake Lemon as a site for our festivities. We will get started around 11:00 and eat at noonish. The club will provide burgers and hotdogs, buns, chips and soft drinks. We will all bring a side dish to round out the feast. BYO adult beverages. As you well know there are fish in Lake Lemon so bring a rod and a couple of flies and catch a few Bluegills to brag about. A day of food, fun , fish and fellowship. Who could ask for more…
The annual HFF auction is set for this coming meeting, April 16. This will be a good opportunity to invest the massive tax refund you got yesterday! Once again we will have the fun filled evening of the annual HFF auction. And, again, we will be privileged to have Kernal Kevin and his dulcet voice as the auctioneer. So round up all those nifty outdoor activity items you were sure you really needed and send them to a new home. It may also be a good idea to plan a few new fly patterns to investigate as there will be some real feather bargains to be had…one never has enough feathers. Feel free to share this event with anyone you know who may be interested.
